Coach Williams is beginning his second year as a coach with Centex Attack. He grew up in Tennessee Colony, Texas and attended Cayuga High School. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He also earned a Masters of Education from Concordia University in Educational Administration.
Coach Williams was a varsity three year letter-winner in football and track and two year letter-winner in basketball. He has almost 20 years of experience coaching basketball at the elementary, middle school and high school level. He began teaching Physical Education and coaching in Pflugerville ISD. He is currently teaching and coaching at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and has been there for 17 years.
In addition to his duties as a basketball coach, Coach Williams teaches 4th thru 8th grade physical education, is a 7th grade advisor, junior varsity boys’ basketball coach and varsity track and field coach. He believes that lessons taught in athletics can be used in life.
Outside of coaching, Coach Williams enjoys spending time with family and friends. He enjoys live music, kayaking, working out and playing sand volleyball.
